About Me

Since my childhood, I am a cycling fanatic. As a child, I used a regular bicycle as a mountain bike and BMX. At age 9 in 1998, I had to sign a contract promising to be careful with my new Rabeneick Fancy, but that didn't stop me from testing the limits of the bicycle, its components, and myself. This earned me the nickname "bicycle tester".

In 2010, I moved to the Netherlands, where I met Bas from The Biker’s Oasis . He encouraged me to expand my repair skills, and I became the go-to bicycle mechanic for my friends. They eventually suggested I turn my repair expertise into a profession.

In 2013, I took over a purple Batavus Cheyenne, a hybride bike, from a dear friend and got into street racing. Later, while working as a bicycle messenger for a postal company in 2020, I found myself slowed down by the speed limiter on cargo bikes and began exploring other ways to turn my passion into a career. I considered offering various bicycle-related services, but after one of my service bikes was stolen—taken "by accident" according to the charity involved— in 2023, I decided not to pursue bicycle repairs professionally due to the impact on service provision, space constraints, other practical considerations, and a shift in focus towards movement.

Today, cycling remains one of my passion and daily practice. If you need any tips, advice, or tests, I'm happy to help. I'm also open to other exciting bicycle related opportunities.
